Maintenance Component

Besea System ǀ Process Descriptions
Maintenance and Work Management
Each Business is different, and the facility operating model in general can be divided into : (1) Operations, (2) Maintenance, (3) Engineering and (4) Support Functions. Besea Maintenance Components is designed to fulfill maintenance business requirements.
The Maintenance Component consists of Work Management and Preventative Maintenance subcomponents.
Work subcomponent is designed to provide complete work management solution, including procedure, results template, permit to work system, resource and supply chain support together with planning. The work request can be generated as standalone entity or auto generated by the maintenance plan.
Besea Maintenance Application, where the Maintenance Strategy can be developed for technical systems with defined failure modes. In additional Maintenance Plan which originates from approved Maintenance Strategy can be targeted towards specific assets and equipment types to meet reliable or regulatory requirements. The Component has the capability to generate time based periodic work requests to achieve preventative or condition-based maintenance strategies.
All work which originated from project request, incident investigations, plant breakdown, reliability events and maintenance plans can be combined into common Execution Plan to assist with resource planning and to optimise access to operational equipment.
Detailed description of all Enterprise Asset Management Components can be reviewed.

Maintenance Plan

Maintenance plan is structured time based maintenance tool where the maintenance requests can be coordinated at facility level. Maintenance plan is multi asset based planning tool which enables to generate work requests as per approved procedure and identified resource plan. Maintenance plan can only be generated by approved Maintenance Strategy.

Procedures

Procedure is step by step instruction on how to complete project or maintenance task. The procedure detail is an outcome of best industry practices, incident investigation recommendations and local or global standards requirements. In some cases, the procedure is safety critical or is required to achieve regulatory compliance - and procedure deviations should be authorised.

Work

Work is a request to complete physical project or maintenance activity at specific facility. The task may range from non intrusive inspection, project modification or major maintenance activity which requires facility outage. There are two main types of work: general requests and preventative requests, where the work request is generated from maintenance strategy.
